Adsense discriminates against Image Ad sizes

You read it right, this is a serious issue I’ve thought long and hard about.

As a webmaster and Adsense user, I’ve come accustomed to the various layouts and ads to use for optimal click through rates. However, what I don’t understand is why a publisher such as Google Adsense can easily forget about the Image Ad sizes, 234 x 60 & 125 x 125.

If you are not familiar with 234×60 and it’s sibling 125×125, let me show you their beauty:

What makes me feel bad for these two ad sizes is that they fit so nicely in with blogging platforms, forums, and regular content websites.

AND, what makes it worse that you allow their twins, text ads 234×60 and 125×125 to prominently display on any site they wish:

What did Image Ads 234×60 and 125×125 do to deserve this?

It’s discrimination at it’s best.
